About me

I have been the Divisional Commander for the North Bank for Humberside Police since January 2022. Before this I have worked across a range of commands, including -

  • divisional policing
  • protecting vulnerable people
  • leading serious and complex investigations

Amongst other things my policing experience has included leading on a collaborated response to early help (EHASH), supporting the delivery of effective responses to vulnerabilities such as missing people as well as supporting effective scrutiny over individual cases and organisational learning.

My current role is to lead operational teams across Hull and the East Riding including 24/7 patrol teams, our Neighbourhood Policing Teams (which includes our Early Intervention offer and Youth Offending Teams) and CID (which looks after our offender management).

In my own time, I have only very recently given up a role as Co-Opted Governor at a Federation of Primary Schools which successfully made a sustained improvement to being graded as outstanding on several occasions.
