About me

I have worked in local government for 29 years. This has involved a range of roles starting with Adult Social Care before moving into Community Safety whilst working in the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. For the last 16 years I have worked for Hull City Council during which time I have had a range of responsibilities which included Public Protection, Civic and CCTV, Reoffending Programme, Substance Misuse, Youth Justice Service, Early Intervention and Youth Services, Hull Training and Adult Education and more recently have taken the lead for Changing Futures. I am chair of Safer Hull, the Community Safety Partnership, and in addition chair the Strategic Domestic Abuse Board, the Collaborative Learning Outcomes Group and the Modern Slavery group for the city. I also have the lead for Veteran and Armed Forces chairing and leading the Armed Forces Forum for Hull.
