Target group

Anyone who has previously undertaken Safer Recruiting (Specialist) Training and wants to refresh their understanding and knowledge. This training will ensure they have the most up to date information from the Safer Recruitment Consortium.
Learning pathway

Before attending this course participants must have attended Safeguarding Children – A Shared Responsibility and Safer Recruiting (Specialist) training.
Course details

To refresh participants’ understanding of safer recruitment and what’s changed recently.
Learning outcomes

By the end of the course participants will have:

  • refreshed their knowledge and understanding of the need for safer recruitment processes
  • explored what’s changed recently
  • reviewed their own recruitment process
  • re-examined their setting and their culture of vigilance
