This session is to support experienced DSL’s, their deputies and the senior leadership team whom have previously undertaken the DSL Training.

Before attending this course participants must have attended -

To further develop our understanding of how professionals should work together to safeguard children and young people and promote their welfare.
Learning outcomes

By the end of the training, participants will have -

  • refreshed their understanding of the role and responsibilities of a DSL
  • an increased understanding of current local safeguarding practice reviews; and
  • explored lessons learnt from safeguarding practice issues locally and nationally
